The Laverton Community Resource Centre works both independently and in partnership with local and visiting organisations, agencies and services to deliver events and programmes, and to establish initiatives that support the needs of the Laverton community.

We aim to identify and address service gaps within Laverton in the areas of:

Government

Providing access to state government and community services.

Business 

Assisting local businesses and the workforce with access to
activities and initiatives that improve skills and foster economic growth in the local community.

Community

Ensuring community members have access to activities and
initiatives that create or improve community connectedness and
capacity.

What We Provide:

Access to Government Services

  • Free Government Access Computer
  • Government Information Booth
  • Department of Transport Agent

Economic and Business Development Support

  • Yearly Traineeship
  • Active referral relationships with local and visiting services, agencies and organisations
  • Facilitates Business Development services and events

Social Development Support

  • Active referral relationships with local and visiting services,
  • agencies and organisations
  • Facilitates General Community programs and events
  • Facilitates weekly Better Beginnings Story and Rhyme Time Program for Parents, Carers and Children 0-5 years of age (Wednesday Mornings 10:00am)
  • Monthly Seniors Morning Tea (last Thursday of the month 10am)
