Come and swim, splash, and relax at Laverton Aquatic Centre!

Located near a range of cafes and activities, the Laverton pool is open from September to April. Officially opened in September 2019 by the previous Premier of Western Australia, Mark McGowan MLA, our pool is a wonderful community venue. Whether you want to learn to swim, spend time with friends and family, or cool off from the sun, our swimming pool is open to everyone to enjoy!

Pool Lessons & Events

Laverton Aquatic Centre boasts a range of activities to keep you fit and healthy in the water. It is available to hire for private events, school lessons, and private lessons, or come and join us for a free Australia Day BBQ.

Swim For Fruit

This program provides an opportunity for Aboriginal children to build their swimming and water safety skills with the added bonus of free fresh fruit.

Bronze Medallion Training

Become a lifesaver and boost your survival skills while improving your teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. The Bronze Medallion is a recognised Royal Lifesaving award.

Baby Swim Sessions

One for Laverton’s tiny swimmers! A dedicated pool session just for babies, helping them get comfortable in the water and build their swimming skills.

Morning lap swimming

Available by appointment on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 6:00 am – 7:00 am. Phone before 6:00 pm the night before to book.

Laverton’s swimming pool is open from September to April, depending on weather conditions and pool usage. Occasionally, our pool opening times may change. If this happens, we will provide notice in the News section of our website.

On weekends with low use, the pool will close earlier, and on weekdays, lunch will be from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.

Children under five must be supervised by an adult at all times.
